Emil Stiebling first opened his family bakery business in 1922 in a small village in Thuringia in Germany. Using recipes he created as a master baker, cakes were baked in stone oven in the traditional local style. These age old traditional recipes are still being used today in the bakery. Combined with the inherited skills of the other grandfather Otto Reimann, who ran a grain mill and also a bakery there, Reimanns Fine Foods is now producing these cakes frozen and packed, to make them available for connoisseurs around the world. In Kerala, near Cochin, we have built a new bakery for the production of cheese cakes and other bakery items. According to our German baking tradition we are using only original German recipes, only slightly adjusted to the local taste. The main production line are cheese cakes in various flavours which are being offered in major supermarkets and bakeriesas well as in restaurants.
